Creating Subjects
Subjects help you group everything that belongs to one theme: Bible verses, sermon passages, and other useful references.
Why subjects matter
Subjects are especially useful when you prepare around the same themes often, such as:
- faith
- repentance
- baptism
- seed
- marriage

Adding a reference to a subject
You can add:

- choose
Add to subject - choose the subject from the list
Show selected text in the reading view with the right-click menu and the Add to subject option.

Reordering references
Inside a subject, you can drag references into the order you want.
This is useful when you want to:
- build a reading sequence
- prepare a cleaner outline
- export the subject in a deliberate order
The chosen order is kept.
Opening the original source
When you click a reference in a subject, the app can take you back to the original sermon or Bible passage.
Exporting a subject to PDF
When your subject is ready, you can export it as PDF.
The PDF follows the current order of the references in the subject.
Working well with subjects
- create one subject for each main theme
- put your strongest references there
- reorder references if you want a clearer flow
- keep longer explanations in notes
