Creating Subjects

Subjects help you group everything that belongs to one theme: Bible verses, sermon passages, and other useful references.

Why subjects matter

Subjects are especially useful when you prepare around the same themes often, such as:

  • faith
  • repentance
  • baptism
  • seed
  • marriage

Opening the subjects page

In the left menu, click Subjects.

Adding a reference to a subject

You can add:

  • a passage from a personal document

While reading a sermon, the Bible, or a personal document, you can send a passage directly into a subject.

Do this:

  2. right-click
  3. choose Add to subject

Reordering references

Inside a subject, you can drag references into the order you want.

This is useful when you want to:

  • build a reading sequence
  • prepare a cleaner outline
  • export the subject in a deliberate order

The chosen order is kept.

Opening the original source

When you click a reference in a subject, the app can take you back to the original sermon or Bible passage.

Exporting a subject to PDF

When your subject is ready, you can export it as PDF.

The PDF follows the current order of the references in the subject.

Working well with subjects

  • create one subject for each main theme
  • put your strongest references there
  • reorder references if you want a clearer flow
  • keep longer explanations in notes
