Using the Bible

The built-in Bible helps you read, search, compare, and keep useful verses without leaving your preparation work.

Opening the Bible

You can open the Bible:

  • from the right panel
  • from the Bible page in the left menu

Reading a book and chapter

The path is simple:

  1. choose a testament
  2. choose a book
  3. choose a chapter

Show an open testament, one selected book, and the chapter or verse list.

Changing Bible version

Wmb Table can show more than one Bible version.

Depending on your active language, you can:

  • use a version already installed
  • see other available versions
  • download a remote version if it is offered
  • switch from one version to another

When a new version finishes downloading, the app can switch to it automatically.

Remote Bible versions

Some Bible versions are not yet stored on your computer at first.

In that case, the app can show a download button next to the version name.

The simple flow is:

  1. open the Bible
  2. look at the version area
  3. if a version is not yet installed, click its download button
  4. wait for the download to finish
  5. use that version like any other

Searching for a verse

Inside the Bible, you can search for a word or expression.

You can also limit the search:

  • to the Old Testament
  • to the New Testament

Audio reading of the Bible

If a voice is configured, the app can read the chapter aloud.
