Linking a reading passage to a note
While reading a sermon, the Bible, or a personal document, you can connect a precise passage to your note.
The important idea is this:
- open the note first
- create a reference inside the note
- then return to the reading view and attach the correct passage
In other words, Add to note is not only for copying text. It is mainly used to connect an exact passage to a marker that already exists in your note.
Simple steps
- Open the note you want to use.
- In the editor, select a word or short phrase that will act as a marker.
- Create a document or Bible reference from that selection.
- Return to the reading view.
- Select the paragraph or passage you want.
- Right-click.
- Choose
Add to note. - Choose the reference you want to complete.
After that, your note keeps a clear link to the exact place.
