Getting Started

This page helps you use Wmb Table for the first time, step by step.

Before you begin

Wmb Table runs on your computer. You do not need technical experience to use it.

You mainly need:

  • a computer where the application is already installed
  • some free disk space to download languages
  • an internet connection if you want to download a language, sync your data, or check for updates

First launch

When you open Wmb Table for the first time, the application first asks you to choose a language.

  1. Open the application.
  2. Wait for the language window to appear.
  3. Download the language you want to use.
  4. Click that language to make it active.
  5. The application will then load the sermons for that language.

Take the screen with the language list, the download button, and the active language tag.

What you see next

After you choose a language, the application opens with three main areas:

  • at the top: the main bar
  • on the left: tools such as search, notes, and settings
  • on the right: sermons, Bible, and your own documents

The center area is used for reading.

Your first reading

To open your first sermon:

  1. Look at the right side panel.
  2. Keep the Sermons tab open.
  3. Find a title by year, by letter, or in the list.
  4. Click the sermon you want.
  5. It opens in the center in a tab.

If you also want the Bible

You can open the Bible from the right panel or from the Bible page on the left.

This lets you:

  • read a chapter
  • search for a verse
  • keep the Bible open in another tab while you read a sermon

If you want to prepare a message

The most useful tools are:

  • Search to find a word or expression
  • Notes to write your thoughts
  • Subjects to group references
  • History to return to what you opened recently

Simple advice to begin well

  • Start with one language, then add others later.
  • Open a few important sermons in tabs.
  • Test one note and one subject early so the workflow becomes clear.
  • If you use more than one computer, also set up backup.
